《人体结构与机能学IV》为临床医学专业学生在学习临床课程前的医学基础课程，为临床医学人才培养最核心的骨干课程之一，通过系统整合，使学生对人体几个系统的结构、功能、对应疾病发生发展、诊断、治疗等的基本知识有一个全面的了解，并将所学知识在病例讨论（PBL）、实验室和临床见习共得到进一步应用，使知识掌握更加系统、牢固，同时具备一定的临床实践和临床思维能力，为临床课程的学习打下坚实的基础。
